come on now. get back out there and release (or pull out) those screws so not much further warping or damage can occur.
then when you come back, carefully look at the cracks(are they really breaks?) and either put in a backer for those 2 panels, or recut/scarf in a ctr section using the original as a template for that. I would bet that there is a very good chance of retrieval for not much aesthetic impact.
And you now will have a little more freedom to not be so precious and get out paddling.
nothing to lose to give yourself a chance to go in either direction
