Hi Ken,
Thanks for your input. I know the pleasant odor of cedar having milled miles of it for strips on previous boats. This stuff has a very strong odor when cut, that is not so pleasant. If redwood has little or no odor, it must be something else or just cedar heartwood that is very dark?
