Funny you should ask. At this very moment I am sitting here figureing out my vacation signup sheet and the two top weeks on the list are the 11th to 24th of Aug. Sign-ups started this morning. I'm going with the idea that Joe has pretty much sewed up the 3rd weekend of aug. for the past few years and they generally give the same weekends to those that repeat several times.

The only issue here is whether I get out bid for those weeks and I'm 32nd out of 50 people in the hunt. ( seniority wise ) It's gonna be close, and I'm hoping for the best, but can't say for sure at this time.

If I don't get them, I will immediately start schmoozing with those that DID get my weeks and see about trading. I get 5 weeks a year and I'm picking 11 weeks, 7 to be canceled later on. But they will give me some trading bait until I find a sucke.. Uh... willing party.

As best as I can tell, YES, I will be there.... but there are many variables in the works at the moment.

I only got to R2K1 by trading my butt off and only knew for sure about 3 weeks before the trip.

Course, there's the other options.......
Beating up a customer, running over someones cat ( dog ), telling the boss where he/she can put this mail or ..... well, you get the idea. Two weeks suspension. :-p

I'll know more in a couple of days....
