Jay, I had a lot of success at the local favorite of the professional builders in my area. They tend to stock higher quality lumber. The yard that I go to services all the best home builders. They stock all kinds of hard woods. They had a large stock of red cedar,Here in NY the use cedar for trim on houses with wood siding. I had to pick for a while to get what I wanted, but I did get good stock. Going back for the stock for the next one. I use the "Home centers" for forms etc.
