I just figured out how to make a website using earthlink and I don’t have a digital camera so this electronic publishing is an effort.

The hatches work great. They don’t leak a drop even when the cockpit is full of water). If you look close in the picture you can see a stop on the backside of the bulkhead. There is also one on the top. When I screw the knob all of the way open (out) the head of the bolt jams against the t-nut and the axis football knob lines up with the crossbar. This along with the stops makes it easy to position the cross bar. Then by screwing the knob in it tightens the crossbar compressing the perimeter gasket and the gasket at the bolt.
