: I have two questions for all you experts. First where is a good place to buy
: adjustable foot rests? Second I had to stop wokking on my Great Auk to try
: to get out some other projects When I stopped working I had just put a
: sealer coat on the outside. Now I am ready to start back on the boat, Do I
: need to do anything to the surface other than a light sanding? I am using
: Raka no blush if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance. Russ
Hi, Russ-

Newfound (603-744-6872) has adjustable aluminum footbraces, with mounting studs for no-hole installation, for $40. per set. I'm not an epoxy expert, so I would defer to others' advice, but it might be a good idea to wash it off with warm soapy water prior to sanding to make sure there is no blush to mess up the next step. Good luck! Mike
