I looked at this stuff a year or so ago, when it was selling at $100 for a kit. Franklin Adhesives, the manufacturer of Titebond is a partner in this venture, and Franklin has said that the PUR has about half the bond strength of Titebond. The chief advantage is speed of cure, which may or may not be an advantage for strip builders. The downside is higher cost and weaker bond. A typical third-party opinion is contained in the link below. My take is that the technology is not yet mature, the price is too high, and the theoretical advantages do not apply well to strip building. As always, YMMD.
