Well I had originally planned to do the design in strips and replace the panels completely... maybe I'm the foolish one for still using strips of veneer when I could just put the squares and triangles down. I gotta make good use of this paper cutter though, don't I?

I'm ordering a 3rd surprise assortment from www.constantines.com now because I didn't think ahead and cut my black veneer too short and ran out of long pieces. I have enough to finish, they're just all in 3 inche sections. Ohwell.
