Hey Tom,

Looks like you've got a beautiful place to use your kayak . . and a beauty she is! I really enjoyed the pics.

I'm getting ready to start building my Guillemot L and was wondering if stretching your yak out to 19' is something you would do again or would you go with 18'? Any regrets?

I am about 6' and 250 pounds and was thinking about stretching mine out another foot. I've only been doing day trips on local rivers so far but the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico are not far away. At the present time, I'm using a Necky Zoar sport (25" x 14')

I've got the small forms glued to the end forms but I don't have them mounted on the strongback yet. I hope to start milling the strips this week so its time to make the decision on the length. Look forward to hearing from you.

Happy Paddling.

Charles.
