Actually, Interlux 202 is pretty benign stuff. It's used for cutting varnish, as a wax solvent, and a wipe-down solution when prepping for the next coat of paint/varnish.lacquer/epoxy and probably as a miracle stain remover, too. Take a look at the MSDS and the constituent ingredients are all pretty low relative contact toxicity, and it has a low vapor pressure for VOC restrictions (Clean Air Act). Look at the PELs and recommended NIOSH exposure levels and there you go.
Now, one of the most effective solvents for removing the complex hydrocarbons classed as "waxes" is ammonia. The thing is, ammonia itself has a high inhalation toxicity, as we all know from just the physical effects. Cutting the standard stuff in water at a 1 ammonia to 4 parts water solution, and working outside, give the parts a gentle scrub using a green pad. The idea is to agitate the wax surface for the ammonia to work on it, thyen rinse it with solution, repeating a couple times. Next, rinse it under running water a minute or so to get all the wax/ammonia off, pat dry, and slap on the diapers, and the little spud is ready to go.

: Interlux makes a product called Fiberglass Wash, I think it is number 202. It
: is designed specifically for cleaning fiberglass of waxes oils and other
: contaminates. It works great but is very toxic (skull and crossbones on
: the front of the can), so use it outside and wear a respirator.
