If the guy would put a link in his listing, to a wood strip kayak builders web site so people could see how much they sell them for, maybe they would bid more..I E-mailed the guy and he said it was in great condition, he paid $1,200.00 for it and all he wanted to do to it was put the hatches in..
I also saw a beautiful old wood/canvas canoe with bent oak ribs only get up to $700.00 ..
