Hey there Roger,
I too have been on a tool search for some time now, and I chose Grizzly for my tablesaw (G1022PRO) and what they call the "Ultimate 14 in. Bandsaw" (G0555). That model of tablesaw comes with their best fence on one of the cheaper saws. Other than quite a bit of assembly and the fact that they forgot to include the drive belt, I've been happy with it so far. Have yet to really "use" it though. That bandsaw, however, looks cool on the showroom floor, but is on back-order. If I remember correctly, I was around 150th on the waiting list, and that it won't be in until the end of January. The best thing, for me, is that they're local and if anything should happen to break or fall apart, I can take it back in person!
Nothing special about their scroll saws, in fact they seem a bit cheap, but I could be wrong. Not the case with the two saws I bought, they seem fairly heavy duty. The tablesaw for instance weighs about 40 lbs. heavier than the Jet I was looking at and has a 2HP motor. Sorry I couldn't be of more help to you, but by the signs of their shipping department, lots of orders go through there in a day. If you have any specific questions or would like for me to make a trip over to their showroom, send me an email, I'd be more than happy to make another trip.

: What are people’s experiences with Grizzly tools? Their prices are so low
: that I have to wonder.
: I’m thinking of getting one of their band saws and maybe a lathe. I’m also
: curious about their scroll saws.
: Anyone used or own/ed Grizzly tools?
: Roger
