Hi Jeff, I know the place you're talking about in Issaquah - I was there once. Cedar King www.cedarking.com is in Redmond - 95th Street off Willows Road. It's a very laid back place. They are the cheapest I've found. Hardwood Supply is near them too (good for other woods). I actually like Dunn Lumber in Kirkland best of all; I guess it's closest to where I work. They're not the cheapest but they have nice boards. Home Depot has some good stuff too.

I made the mistake of telling the guy in Issaquah that quality, not money, was the driving factor behind my wood selection. He got his pencil out and figured my kayak would consume $700 in WRC. I haven't been back. I know one other builder who uses them and he seems to do okay there.
