: I am a high school wood shop teacher and I have had several students build
: stitch and epoxy kayaks. Today we have noticed that when attaching a sheer
: clamp a student made two left sides. The only Idea we have come up with so
: far is to put an inside and outside sheer clamp on each side and treat the
: extra as a rub rail.Is this even possible? Is there a better fix out
: there?
: Thanks in advance for any help.

If every methods listed above fail, you can call up the manufacturer and order a new panel(s). I'm sure they can supply another -- may be even free. If the student cut the panel from lofting, you still can cut another panel to match.
