I'll keep that idea in mind. That's pretty good. Good thing I have no place where the curve of the deck can cause a problem...yet. Looks like I'll just have to build another yak where a curce will be a problem. Any excuse works for an addiction ya know...

I have a collection of mid-sized s/s fender washers for the 6, 8 and 10 size machine screws, not those mega-plates... which reminds me to do another post about s/s fasteners that are magnetic and rust when left to sit in a brine solution...and are sold at times at West Marine
