: Things that make a kayak easy to roll:
1) Narrow Beam
Yup, this is easy. I find my GB is WAY wider than it needs to be. Never would have believed it !
: 2) Low Volume
Hmmmm..low volume and big feet+big paddler..might be an issue here. Maybe a "power bulge" for my toes? LOL Actually this fits in well with the fact that I don't pack gear
: 3) low rear coaming for layback-style rolls
Yup this is also easy. A lot of boats seem to be this way. The GB seems low enough even for my less than flexible frame.
OK this gives me some ideas to work on. It seems that I'd need a fairly long boat to carry the weight, and that would tend to compromise maneuverability, wouldn't it? Oh well, Can't have everything
