Others have done this with dacron and I have not... I believe some use a heat gun set at low, and others have used an iron.

All the building I have done is with ballistic nylon which shrinks very well with a simple watering down with a spray hose and then drying. Then painting with polyurethane varnish stabilizes the shrunk dimensions.

I am sure you will receive other comments on shrinking the dacron.
