I was thinking fire pit, but that would get way to hot and might melt the tubes. If it does work, it will probably mark up the tubes, so you might have to powdercoat them afterwards. Might not be worth it. If I remember correctly, my uncle had a simliar problem with wood stuck in a pipe. He took it to a machine shop and they dipped it into a chemical that destroyed everything but the tube. It might have been a steel tube, so I don't know if alum. would hold up. Try the BBQ, just be sure to have a pair of gloves and a fire extinguisher close by. Good luck. GB
