however, i think the pitchpole possibility of surflanding as well as jeff's point about the seat falling out or out of place when upside down, as well as the possibility of the seat jamming forward or being awkward or moving around in a paddle float or assisted type of reentry should cause some reflection.
i would like some kind of detent or release fixing.
