Hi CC, I layed out the reference lines in dark pencil on both sides of the forms then strung a fishing line from stem to stern. I got my driving glasses and a flashlight and did the same dance you did with my head going all directions. The flashlight helped (my failing eyes) a lot. I lined up the vertical reference by standing on a latter; and then checked the forms side to side with a long batten.

Congratulations on the success. Be sure to keep us posted on the remainder of the project.
