I've been a surfer since '58 and in some way or another messing around with my boards since the first one I owned. I've tweeked redwood logs, early foam sticks and today's lightweights. Mostly due to self inflicted damage but some to experiment.

There are a lot of lessons that apply directly to our boat building methodolgy. Not the least of which is the intangible, spiritual, connection of the process of preparing a vehicle to take you on the water to fulfill your dreams.
