Same as always. My last boat has a coaming 7/8" tall which is fine. I started with one the size Morris recommended and when I finished it it looked terrible so I cut it way down. My rim is very thin @ 3/16" before sanding. I plan to start with stock 7/8" and then trim to suit. As others have said why make a real short aft deck and then loose it by adding a tall coaming.
