I've built boats ok using both products but the last two were just with Clearcoat. I like how easily it wets out the cloth and there's no amine blush. To fill the weave of 1 layer 4 oz cloth I believe it only took a couple coats. I think the Clearcoat is easier to squeegee out smooth, reducing the amount of subsequent sanding. Light-weight was my primary criteria.
