The wood fiber will soak up the liquid, swell and the Al wall will permanently compress the swollen wood. After the alcohol evaporated, hopefully,the wood plug will shrink enough to loosen itself.
On second thought, soak the wood with alcohol and light it on fire. The flame will burn out quickly, too fast to harm the Al tubing. May worth a try.
The other thing that may work against you, is the corrotion on the metal. It expands and the rough surfact may trap the wood inside.
