You are probably right. But... be sure to keep up on what's going on here so you can jot down all these neat ideas that you might implement on your boat when you actually get started. I truely think you will enjoy the experience and the finished product.

You COULD spend some time getting some paddles shaped and if you had the plans, possibly work on some of the small things that can be done ahead of time and put away till later. ??

Sorry to hear this got all turned upside down on you. LIke you said, maybe now just wasn't the time....
