In Response To: Do you tape your forms? (Jack Sanderson)

I've done one and one-half boats with tape on the forms and have started a third without. I found the tape to be a royal rectal pain -- the glue would either melt the tape or the tape would pull away. I finished the last boat without it and more attention to the amount of glue used. No problem getting the forms out (although I've been known to use a sledge hammer to give a firm hit).
good luck

: Those of you who have gone stapleless do you put tape on the edges of your
: forms. There seems to be conflicting advice on this. It would make getting
: the forms out much easier though some have told me that they did't get
: enough hold on the taped surface.

: What the consensous on this?
