Sorry Grant, I was kinda rambling.. I was just trying to show that it took very little resin to wet out and even less to fill the weave completely. The glass ( 3.25oz.) took very little resin and cleared up very well. Also, that using a squeegie I was able to keep the coats thin, wiping off all excess.

What Mike said.......

If you want to add some extra glass outside the hull, double up on the 3.25oz. and you will be resin ahead and have a bit more material than either the 5oz. or 6oz.! And it is said that if you bias the layers in opposite directions, you will gain much strength over one direction of cloth.
