In Response To: Strip: Question for Night Heron Builders (Wes Ostertag)
My biggest problem was keeping the strips on the forms at the chine. Use 3 times the 1/4-inch strips than nick suggests. In fact if I build this yak again I will use 1/4 inch from 3 inches under the shear line to 4 inches from the centerline on the hull and the first 4 inches above the shear line on the deck.
