Terry:
I opted to run all of my strips (except for the sheers) parallel to the centerline. I put in the sheer strips, installed one of the rear center strips, then stripped from the centerline out. I repeated the process for the other side of the rear deck. I then installed both front center strips and completed the front deck. It worked well for me, especially on the nearly flat back deck. The picture below shows it pretty well.
