Never thought I would hear it, but my wife decided to let me build her a boat. We just made a trip to St. Vincent Island off Florida for a Whitetail archery hunt. Our group paddled the short trip across the bay (less than a 1/2 mile) everyday in kayaks, but Jean refused to borrow an offered kayak and instead we took the Bob's Special 15' across every day. When she didn't hunt I used the Guillemot.

I am almost done with my Cirrus, she likes the lines but wants a stripper or at least the deck. I was wondering what might be a good boat for her.

She is a beginner more so than me, ha! 5'2" about 125 lbs and more determined than athletic. She has already drawn a basic deck design for the strips but I could do a hybrid by using a simple hull like the Cirrus and strip the deck.

Wonder if Vaclav is planning a smaller Cirrus?
