: I have the Stanley 151, used it to make a greenland paddle. Being a
: thrifty(cheap) Scotsman, I gave myself the the opportunity to try chisels,
: other planes, knives etc. to carve around the loom/blade transition and to
: round over the loom. I finally fell off my wallet and bought the
: spokeshave, it is a wonderful tool indeed for paddle making. Having said
: that, I can see that the Stanley 151R which has a round faceplate would be
: very useful for tighter i/s corners. The link below shows both styles of

I tried H. D. before Christmas and came up zero, but will run over there again to see what's new. Those are exactly what I've been looking for. We've got 3 Home Depots around this town, so maybe I'll call and see if I can find them. If not, this site looks like the place!! Thanks!!
