Well, as I suspected, the folks at Home Depot here in Fresburg are regressing into the future at an alarming rate. Not only did I have to tell them it wasn't a gardening tool, but I had to draw a picture of it. ??? Called Lowes and got the same answer. What's that???

There IS one old hardware store on the outskirts of town that is much like the old Mom and Pop stores, and they have stuff stored out there from 20's on up, but they are very Proud of it and charge likewise. I may just have to order it and get it over with.

Well, one thing about it.... I may be the only one around here ( with the exception of my canoe buddy, David ) that's building wooden boats and paddles. ( or trying to )
