Hmmmmmmm!! I don't know, most of those folks that use my alphabet met me at R2K1 and out of the 100+ that were there, only 4 or 5 stuck with it. You may want to reconsider... ???
But, you would normally place it befor the last consonant, but in your case, It would go before the L. "Charhles". It has to be silent, and placing it after the vowel "e" would give the end a looong sound. "Char-Lehs" Totally not proper!! For some, with the double consonant, you place it before the first and drop the second. As In Bill: ( Bihl ).
