Hi Russ,
I'm with Chip..
Accuracy should be the best you can manage.
You may find it easier to use a handheld jigsaw to trim the forms down an eighth of an inch (with a nice closely toothed plywood blade and set for smooth cut.)
You will be irritated enough that all the strips do not want to lay down flat on the forms... Thinking it is the fault of the forms just adds an extra layer of discomfort.
