Hmmm,
Well, I thought I got all the pieces fiberglassed pretty quickly and kept them on the forms when I could, but there was some warpage between the hull and deck.
The deck widened and the hull narrowed.
I successfully tried advice that either PJ or Rehd gave, I used braces to hold the hull edges apart and then used a couple bands to hold the deck and hull together.
I've never seen it posted, but it is a Very Good Idea to put some duct tape on the ends of the braces so the braces can be removed after the epoxy dries. That is the take home.
I will wait 24 hours for the inside epoxy joint to cure some before removing the outside bands, and then will wait for the outside fiberglass to cure before removing the hull spreading braces.
Hopefully, when the braces are removed, the boat will not implode like Cincinnati's River Front Stadium yesterday.
