This message is for Nick or anyone who can tell me if I am wrong or is it easier to follow Nicks instructions in his book. Would it not be simpler to dado out the strongback on the ends to slide in the end forms and screw them down after you line them up? I am new at this kayak thing but have been building furniture and upholstery for 30 years and always think out things before I start. Thanks for your help and I am sure I will be asking more questions later as I go .
