I've never taken the Fundamentals course, but I've been at the Wooden Boast School on at least 4 occasions (for kayak related courses) and it always seemed that there was a Fundamentals class in progress. The three instructors they have listed: Greg Rossel, Harry Bryan and Warren Baker are top notch. I've talked to all three at the school and wandered into their classes while waiting for the epoxy to set up.
