Arko,
The model number of the Varitas Spoke Shave is OSP32.01 "Low Angle Spoke Shave". The cost was around $40.00. It is smaller than most and flipping the "Toe Piece" allows conversion for convex or concave cuts. The blade is small and does not fit in my sharpening jig but they sell a holder and unlike most companies they give you a drawing with dimensions to make one yourself. It has an adjustable throat and comfrotable handle (I finally had a chance to use it). Hats off to Mr. Lee for designing such fine tools, I own his variable burnisher, scraper handle and sharpening jig and love them all.
Unfortunately (not really) I can not work on the vessel tonight because I am heading to Vermont for some excercise (ie:skiing) tomorrow. If you have some time run to my shop and finish the final pre-epoxy sanding for me!
Happy New Years to all!
Timothy
