I didn't add any extra stations and I think it's going to be OK. I can understand Vaclav's point, since his usual station spacing is 12", but so far, it seems plenty stiff. I left the beveled angles intact on the Cirrus,since I think the angles will make the stripped deck look "interesting"

I purchased the Merganser plans for the hybrid strip deck option, and really like the way the partial forms kept the bow and stern from pinching inward.

The strip pattern is based on the results I got from building my Dragonfly.
