It's not really for me to announce, but Eric Schade said he didn't mind my blabbin'! LeeG turned me onto the fact that Eric was working on something new, and a quick e-mail to him at Shearwater got the following response and picture:

I am designing such a boat...the rumors are correct. It is drawn as 18 feet by 21 inches wide, as with my other designs, other sizes will be available. I currently have the basic design complete, but have yet to generate the panel shapes and build a scale model. once I complete the model and am happy with it, I will build a full size prototype. I could offer Beta Test versions of the plans once I finish the model, so that you could build "at the same time" as I do. plans would be available in January (in a couple of weeks)
