Just thought I'd post an update on my progress with the Cirrus.
My fiberglass arrived on Friday, Jan 2, and I've now got the
outside of the deck glassed and one fill coat on.

I did manage to turn one of my mistakes into a feature. I had
a couple of panels on the deck that came up short, leaving a
pretty big gap. They made sort of an arrowhead shape, so I
just cut the arrowhead shape bigger and filled it with some
walnut. I think it came out pretty nice.

Much to my surprise I've also come to like the noticable dots
left from where I filled the stitch holes. I used toothpicks
to fill the holes and they darkened considerably under the
epoxy. At first it bothered me but I've come to like the
lines of dots on the deck.
