I did use titebond poly on the deck of the spirit. It seemed to work well there, but I have since switched back to yellow glue. On Beth's Silver, I found the the poly tended to release in high stress areas (i.e. bending and twisting). They appreared ok initially, but, when sanded for example, the vibrations of the ROS were to much for the joints. I may have just had bad joints there. Poly requires a really tight joint, i.e. no gapping. For now, yellow glue is much easier to clean up and holds well. I still like poly for gluing up paddle blanks and such, though.

Actually, everybody uses some epoxy as a glue
