did the exact same thing today on King #2. Just remember to keep it moving. I hold the belt sander perpendicular to the sheer,and sweep it left to right with about 12" sweeps ,removes wood fast this way and leaves alot of scratch but the r.o.s. with 80 and 120 will clean it up great.
