: But on the glass cloth, I didn't find a reference (did I just miss it?), but
: think that it will take about 23 yards - 11 yards of the 4 oz and 12 yards
: of the 6 oz - based on some stuff I read in Nick's book. Is that right?
: Can any OI builders comment on how much they used?

I used the 60" wide 6oz. cloth. Cut roughly down the middle, I glassed the interior deck and hull with a single length of cloth. You can get away with 6-7 yards for the inside. I added two additional layers behind the coaming to the hatch. The flat deck seemed to flex too much without it. I can't remember, but I likely used a single length to glass the exterior. I have a building log on my webpage www.loup-garou.net. I took the kayak out Thanksgiving day. You'll like it.
