Nick, without you I'd still be a floundering landlubber. My neck and back were messed up in a car accident that ended a 24 year running stint that saw me do several marathons and compete very decently in innermerable shorter races. Sea kayaking has provided me with an alternative form or recreation that has extended into a real cultural changeover. It all started when a friend recommended I check out your site. A short while after I began reading the threads here I made my first kit purchase for a S&G at Waters Dancing here in Edmonton. Kayaking has helped me retain my health and offered me a way to express myself creatively. Building a kayak is a totally awesome experience. Nothing compares to paddling in a kayak built with my own two hands (ok, I built my own house but besides that... ). I'll be ordering plans for one of your cedar strips this year because it's the natural move from a S&G. Besides, I need to fill that burning urge to start the another progect. Thanks for all the time you put into this site, I appreciate it.
