Hi Lennie, I know what you mean; there were a few months when I was epoxying almost every day and, I think it got into my blood :D I picked up a pamphlet from Gougeon Bros that went into vacuum bagging pretty nicely; it's manual #002-150 "Vacuum Bagging Techniques". It's fairly concise and inexpensive too - available at West Marine/West System. I would recommend it to get the basic terminology down. For specific details, I like to quiz my suppliers... there are so many combinations, variations out there that it would probably be pretty hard to catalog it all.

Marine Composites has some great online manuals (pdf format) that goes into some of the different fabric types and weaves. Check out the Materials section at http://www.marinecomposites.com I think I originally got the link from Shawn. And, there's no substitue for experimenting first-hand or asking about specific materials on one of the BBSs.

I hope this helps,
- Chip
