Hello. Based on recent questions/answers, I went out at lunch today to get some RIT dye to mix in with some Durham's Water Putty. I had previously looked at my local paint stores and DIY centers, with no luck. I was instructed (per this Bulletin board) to go to an arts and crafts store, which I did.

So, at the risk of proving myself to be the idiot that my wife claims I am, did I buy the right stuff, or have I totally misunderstood? I got RIT dye powder, but it's generally used for tie-dying cloths and stuff like that. It was in the materials section (as in sewing) of the store. Am I a bone head or not?
