I had a scarf joint fail on me last winter (using Titebond original). Fortunately, it was the sheer clamp piece, which for the Endeavour design is the first piece attached to the forms, so it didn't set me back very much. I recut the scarf, took it inside the house, and got a solid joint on my second try.
