Glue up your strips and cover the boat with a tarp, old blanket, dropcloth, or plastic sheet. Under the boat place several lightbulbs, stretched along the length of the boat. Use enough bulbs to get 500 to 800 watts; this can be any mixture of bulb sizes. A 100 watt bulb gives you about 35 BTU, and 1500 watts is around 5100 BTU. You don't want to use more than this on one circuit or you might blow a fuse.

700 watts or so should kick the temperature under that covered boat to a respectable level, and keep it there for a few hours while the glue sets up. You can check this with a thermometer of course.

Lightbulbs are cheap, easily available, and effective for this kind of heating as they heat the air by convection, and the wood by radiation. You can string them the length of the boat, placing them 2 to 2.5 feet apart. Your propane heater could be placed under the tented boat, too, but it might get too hot in one area, and not be hot enough further away. Don't let the bulbs get closer than 18 inches or 2 feet to the wood or it might actually get too hot! If you cover the boat with cloth or plastic, be sure a stray breeze won't blow it on top of one of the hot bulbs. We don't want any fires here.
