I'm on the same Bay - just a couple hundred miles South, in Virginia, where it meets the ocean. The article makes this guy sound like an oddity, and he is here in this part of the world. But, I've heard that on the Left Coast, there are some cities that have lots of Kayak commuters and have even set up ramps and lockers for them, and some have cloths changing stations. Neat stuff.

I think two of those cities might have been San Francisco and Seattle, but I'm not positive. Maybe some of you lefties could comment further, since my info is not first hand.
